Ramon Trias i Capella, founder and President of AIS-Aplicaciones de Inteligencia Artificial, SA since 1987, has a degree in Economics and is a Business Graduate from Barcelona University. His extensive career can be considered as consisting of two stages. The first is closely linked to the financial sector and its computerization. He was one of the main players in the implementation of IT tools in the banking industry. During this period, there was a need to design software applications to help financial institutions in their decision-making when allocating risk to individuals. From this, the idea for AIS was born, and with it the second part of his career. Since the establishment of AIS to date, Ramon Trias has been the essence of the company. As well as creating most of the products offered at AIS, he now devotes much of his time to research and development of new solutions, in pursuit of the same goal: to offer customers innovative technologies to facilitate their daily activities which will, in turn, bring them tangible benefits.

Nausica Trias has a degree in Industrial Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia and an MBA (Masters in Business Administration) from the Barcelona College of Business Administration (ESADE), and is currently the Deputy Director at AIS. Nausica Trias began her AIS career as an analyst programmer in 1993. In 1998, she was appointed Director of the Training Department created by AIS, to manage and encourage continuous training for its personnel. In 2001, she took charge of the General Department for Organisation and Methods, taking over the areas of Marketing, Systems and New Technologies. In 2002, she served as Production Director, responsible for one of the major departments in the consultancy, before being appointed Deputy CEO. She was appointed CEO in 2018.

Andreu Miró is the Chief Operations Officer at AIS. He has a degree in Computer Science from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia, Miró is also an expert in Basel III and credit risk management. His extensive knowledge and experience in credit risk management and NACB have contributed to various institutions asking him to give courses and lectures in several countries, including the Autonomous Technological Institute of Mexico (ITAM) and the School of Business Administration of Barcelona (EAE), where Miró has worked as a lecturer in Credit Risk Management.

Mireia Franquesa, born in Barcelona, has a degree in Economics and an EUS Diploma (University, Society and Business) from Barcelona University. She started her career at Ernst & Young and stayed there for four years as an external auditor. In 1997, she became Deputy Director of Organisation at the CEAC Study Centre, where she served another four years. After this experience, she was appointed Director of Telemarketing Vega Organization and Financial-Economic Director in Opening. Since late 2002, Mireia Franquesa has been the Chief Financial Officer at AIS.

José Manuel Aguirre is a certified accountant with a PhD in Economics from Buenos Aires University, and has been Commercial Director of AIS since January 2001. Much of his professional career has been spent in banking. Aguirre has been Vice-President of the Bank of Boston (Massachusetts, USA), Credit Director for Bansud, the Mexican entity previously owned by Banamex, CEO of the Bank of Córdoba (Argentina) and Credit Director of the Argentinian bank Supervielle. José Manuel Aguirre has also acted as a consultant for organisations such as the Central Bank of Argentina, the Bank of the Province of Buenos Aires and the Bank of Chile.
